David Perpall, DMD

Like his father and grandfather before him, Dr. David Perpall was drawn to helping people through a career in dentistry. Born and raised in the metro Atlanta area, Dr. Perpall attended high school in Norcross before receiving his bachelor’s degree from UNC-Charlotte. After graduation, Dr. Perpall began a career in dental supply & equipment sales with Atlanta Dental Supply. It was through his experiences observing the many different facets and specialties of dentistry that Dr. Perpall decided he would return to school to obtain his degree in dentistry.

Dr. Perpall earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Georgia Regents University, College of Dental Medicine, now Augusta University, Dental College of Georgia. He continued his education earning a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. This was an optional year of training in more complex dental procedures such as dental implants, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, periodontal surgeries, and medically complex patient care.

Philanthropy has been a big part of Dr. Perpall’s life and career, as well. He volunteered his time and services to Help A Child Smile, a mobile dental clinic that treats children gaining thorough pediatric dental experience. He has also been on mission trips to Trinidad and Peru to help those who would otherwise have no access to dental care. Dr. Perpall is an active participant in volunteer organizations such as Dentistry from the Heart, Hope Dental Clinic, Georgia Mission of Mercy (G-MOM), a project of the GDA and Christ Community Health Services’ Dental Mission Downtown (DMD) Project.

When not pursuing his passion of dentistry, you can find Dr. Perpall spending time with his beautiful wife Mary Beth, a native of Evans, GA, and their three beautiful children Anna Lee, Ellie & Abe.

Bre – Office Manager

Bre, an Office Manager at Riverwatch Dental since 2017, holds an Associate degree in Healthcare Management and is certified as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant.

From Columbia, SC, she married her husband Caleb in 2020 and is a proud mother of two—an adorable son born in 2020 and a daughter born in 2025.

Bre enjoys the blend of clinical knowledge and patient care in dentistry, focusing on addressing patient concerns about treatment and finances.

In her free time, she enjoys coffee, Chick-fil-A, listening to music, and spending quality time with her family.

Christy – Admin Team Member

Christy holds an Associate degree in Healthcare Reimbursement and joined Riverwatch Dental in 2024. Married to John since 2021, she enjoys the company of her two dogs, Luna and Maddie.

An avid reader and walking enthusiast, Christy also partakes in obedience training with her dogs and loves watching Georgia Bulldog football.

When she can, she escapes to Savannah for a little relaxation.

Barbara – Registered Dental Hygienist

Barbara, a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995. She hails from South Florida, but has made Augusta her home for over 30 years. She enjoys the dynamics of working with diverse people and personalities, taking pride in helping individuals maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.

Barbara is married to her husband, Mark, and is the proud mother of two sons. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and being outdoors.

Abby – Registered Dental Hygienist

Abby has been an essential part of Riverwatch Dental since 2018. Originally from Warrenton, GA, she married Dakota in March 2025. Abby values getting to know her patients and helping them improve their confidence. Abby graduated from Augusta University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

Abby loves going to the movies, reading, and crafting, and cherishes her time with family and friends. She is also an active member of Stevens Creek Church, contributing to the vibrant community around her.

Kayla – Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Kayla, from Lancaster, SC, joined Riverwatch Dental in 2024. Engaged to her childhood sweetheart, Will, since June 2025, she shares her home with two French bulldogs, Kirby and Georgia, along with three goats and a donkey.

Passionate about dentistry, Kayla is dedicated to helping others feel confident in their smiles.

She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, running a photography business called "Forever Framed," and pursuing hobbies such as go-kart racing and DIY projects.

Raven – Dental Assistant

Raven joined Riverwatch Dental in 2022, bringing her educational background with a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Sciences.

Originally from Milledgeville, GA, she is a proud mom to a baby boy and a fur baby named Cash.

Raven loves being part of giving someone their confidence back, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients with her compassionate approach to dental assistance.
